Monica De Zulueta Technology

Monica De Zulueta, Ph.D., has over 28 years of computing and scientific research experience. Monica joined Microsoft in 1999. She has architected both database and middleware solutions for the federal government and large Fortune 500 corporations. Before joining Microsoft, she was a senior researcher at a leading biomedical firm, Coulter Corporation, for 6 years. Monica was also a civil servant working at NASA and interning at NOAA. She served as a project leader at NASA, on the communications systems for Shuttle Launch and Payload Processing. Her internship at NOAA consisted of flying on-board the hurricane reconnaissance aircraft. Monica was also named one of the 100 most green Latinos by Poder360 and profiled in the book, Latinnovating. She has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and another Master of Science in Engineering Management. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
